THE FIRST SNIFF

Congratulations, the first sniff is complete! By showing an interest in our franchising offer, you’re well on your way to joining the Alpha Doghouse team. Now it’s time to fill out our franchising form to submit your interest.

REVIEW THE FDD

It’s now time to move things forward. Our franchising team will send you a copy of the Alpha Doghouse Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for you to review. We ask that you return the document within two weeks.

SIGN ON THE DOTTED LINE!

At this stage, we will share our Franchise Agreement (FA) with you, which you will need to read through and sign.  And just like that, you become the latest Alpha Doghouse franchisee. Congratulations!

Alpha Doghouse Financial Overview


  • Franchise Fee: $40,000

  • Royalty Fee: 6% of gross sales

  • Local Marketing Fee: 2% of gross sales

  • Corporate Marketing Fund: 1% of gross sales

  • Liquid cash assets of at least $100,000

  • Adequate credit score

  • Estimated initial investment of between $100,00 and $195,000 (includes a bricks and mortar facility)

What do we expect from Alpha Doghouse Franchisees?


  • Be able to open the business for operations within six months

  • Strong sales and customer service abilities

  • Good with timing and schedule management

  • Passion for all animals, but particularly dogs

  • Able to meet the initial investment requirements

  • High personal standards including excellence, honesty, and integrity

  • Participation in the day-to-day activities of the business on a full-time basis


What Should Franchisees Expect from Alpha Doghouse?

  • Marketing support at the national and local level

  • Refresher and update training delivered each year

  • Exclusive territory based on an approximate 100,000 population base

  • Comprehensive initial training programs – one at our HQ and one at your chosen location, for a total of five weeks

  • Ongoing support programs and regular visits by Alpha Doghouse field support staff

  • Operational assistance with customer-service techniques, product ordering, pricing guidelines, etc.

Yes, of course! Exclusivity is super important in franchising, which is why we ensure our
franchisees will have an exclusive territory based upon a population of approximately
100,000.

Alpha Doghouse franchisees are supported from the very start. We provide comprehensive
initial training, followed by ongoing support for all areas of the franchise, ensuring you
always feel supported when you’re serving your customers and running the day-to-day of
your franchise.
How much does it cost to invest in an Alpha Doghouse franchise?
Our franchise fee is $40,000, in addition to an initial investment that ranges from $100,000 to
$195,000. This investment gets you a bricks and mortar facility). Franchisees are also
